ProtectIQ+ is an additional service to add on to your Managed WiFi for $6.99 per month. Both services are accessed through the BrightRidge SmartHome app.

You are not required to lease a wireless router for High-Speed Internet service (Fixed Wireless or Fiber Optic), however, you are required to use a BrightRidge router, in order to participate in the Managed Wi-Fi service. This makes technical support and onsite assistance much more effective and timely. Due to the cost of the wireless router, a deposit of $50.00 may be required depending on your credit score. If you decide to discontinue broadband services with BrightRidge, the leased BrightRidge router, and power supply cords for the router and range extender, must be returned. If not returned, a $100.00 fee will be applied to your account.

Yes, you must have one of BrightRidge internet services at your home, in order to enroll in the Managed Wi-Fi service.

Yes, please call (423) 952-5000 to cancel your Managed Wi-Fi service. This service is month-to-month with no contract term commitment.
